Looking for a fun way to get around when your visiting Bend, Sunriver, or surrounding Central Oregon cities? Land boarding is a fun and exciting new sport that can be enjoyed by virtually everyone. Imagine a skateboard version of stand up paddle boarding (SUP). The land paddle allows you to power yourself on any longboard cruiser skateboard, pstick, castorboard, regular skateboard, mountianboard, or pretty much anything else you would normally ride on the street or ground terrain. The paddling action almost exactly simulates Stand Up Paddle Boarding, only your able to do it on land.
Land Paddling can be a casual ride or full workout depending on your desire. When casual riding, a land paddle allows for "surfy" feel as the rider carves and glides along a road or path. The land paddle provides balance as the rider uses it to propel themselves. If a rider wants to put in some miles and paddle for a long distance they will get a great upper body workout, utilizing the bicep,tricep, shoulder, lat and core ab muscles.
