What we believe - 

We believe in supporting the local economy through information, stimulation, and participation.  We believe when you offer a great reasonable product or service to good people everyone is happy.  Businesses can reach their customers without spending "an arm and a leg" on advertising or advertising with a "fly by night" daily deal site.  Most have no viable content to get a long term internet presence or legitimate loyal local following.  We believe that when people discover a good honest business that provides a great service to their community they will return simply because of the service provided.

Group or Pay per Sale program collects $60 and takes 50% for their cut.

Group or Pay per Sale program's profit = $30
Business receives 50% of the $60 = $30 profit


Paid to them over 3 months at $10 per month 
This is almost always per deal.  This looks bad for the business profit at one sale but look how bad it gets when you sell to 100 consumers.
So now lets multiply the same deal with 100 deals sold in a 1 week Group coupon or Pay by Sale ad:

Consumers get a great

Now the Group or Pay per Sale program takes
$60 x 100 = $6000
and takes 50% profit      

The Group or Pay per Sale program's profit = $3000
Business receives 50% of the $60 x 100 =$3000 profit

Paid out over 3 months =$1000 per month for 3 months
With this group or Pay per Sale deal system the customers will benefit, which is great, but the business cannot sustain itself and stay in business longterm to offer the deal again or very often anyway.  Economy suffers.  Since it is only offered once in a great while it  does not build a loyal customer base.  The business only has a short time to sell themselves to the consumer.
